Ray's Bio

Since 1983 Ray has been performing, producing, engineering (audio of course), traveling, making Friends and creating great music. More recently he is electrifying audiences with what he calls“CREATIVE LIVE LOOPING” it allows Ray to create amazing textures and layers that will blow your mind……… or at least you’ll think its pretty cool! From simple acoustic songs, to fully produced Pink Floyd and amazing electric guitars. Combine that with his feel for music and his connection with his audience it is often a show to remember.

In 1997 Ray joined The Shadows of Knight famous for the 1966 hit ‘Gloria’. Being a member of the Shadows for 7 years gave Ray priceless experience, as an opening act for Household names: Jefferson Airplane, Vanilla Fudge, The Doobie Brothers, Loretta Lynn and many more. The Shadows have appeared on National Television several times and have played festivals, casinos, clubs and PTA meetings?…… not!
In S.W. Florida Ray has become a popular Recording Engineer, Producer and Performer. He is currently working in the recording studio, engineering, co- producing, and performing on The Barefoot Geno Project featuring artists from The Dead, The Allman Brothers and members of The Derek Trucks Band.
Ray is constantly developing his own unique style as a solo performer, ranging from Neil Diamond to Pink Floyd and the occasional Carlos Santana. Ray can be progressive and adventurous in his interpretations of some of the Covers he plays and he can lay back with simple acoustic grooves for the1st set.
His talent and skills have taken him as far South as Sloppy Joe’s in Key West and as far North as Put-in Bay, Ohio where he performs in front of thousands at The Beer Barrel Saloon. From the many years of perfecting his skills and techniques as a musician Ray has developed a very rare talent as a Sound Engineer. Ray has traveled all around the states mixing Artists such as Gary Puckett, Three Dog night, Henry Gross, Colonel Bruce Hampton and countless others. So his shows sound great!!
